Carroll Jean (Hoover) Berry

Carroll Jean Berry, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, June 2l, 2023, in Rio Rancho, NM.

Born Friday, December 8, 1939 in Santa Rita, NM ,to Carroll S. and Wilma J. Hoover. She is survived by sisters Christine Lehrman, and Sue Sudbury and daughters; Denise Crawford (Curtis) Nancy Gordy (Paul), and Bonne Cleveland; grandchildren Shawna Van Zuiden (David), James Crawford (Samantha), Katy Francis (Heath), and Eve Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Nina Van Zuiden, Brant Van Zuiden, Rynlee Francis, and Taten Francis. She was preceded in death by husband Raymond C. Berry and her parents.

Carroll grew up in El Paso, Texas. Soon after marrying, the family moved to Albuquerque in 1963. Her and Raymond raised their daughters in the family home, where Ray and Carroll continued to reside for 60 years. Carroll was an avid bowler and enjoyed the family "Berry Patch " cabin In the Jemez.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Lomas. Virtual service will be available for those who are unable to attend in person.
