Carolyn Francis (Von Bergen) Zentner, age 86, beloved wife and mother and public servant passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
Carolyn lived a full life as a military wife during the Korean and Vietnam War time frames while raising two boys. Carolyn was born in Savanah, Georgia and grew up just outside the big city, in Pooler, GA, known for its pecans, lumber, and train industry. Carolyn was the youngest of five children spanning 15 years. Carolyn with her husband, Frank L. Zentner, Sr. were very active in their Church. Together they would raise two sons, F. Larry Zentner, Jr. and John Alan Zentner. All her siblings and husband have already passed. Both sons, Larry and John, survive Carolyn. She is the last to join her immediate Von Bergen family clan in heaven.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday, January 24, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at St. John United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Carolyn will be interned with her late husband in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, New Mexico during a private-family service.
