Carolyn T. Ortega

Carolyn T. Ortega, 86, passed away August 28, 2017 after a very brief illness with members of her family by her side.

She is survived by her children, Amanda McNeese and husband, David, David Ortega and wife, Kay, Anna Ortega and husband, Gerald Greenhouse and Paul Ortega; grandchildren, Mike and wife, Wendy, Leisa and husband, Jay, Carly and husband, Doug, Daniel, Alicia, Andrew, Emilee and Nathan; and great-grandchildren, Ivey, Myles, Lili, Logan, Calden, Layton and Madeline. She is also survived by her siblings, Lucy, Angie, Louise and husband, Randy, Rosie, Margie, and Eddie; and many other family and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Ortega; her parents, Felipe and Juanita Tapia; and her siblings, Fabie, Gene, Clarita and Edwina.

Mrs. Ortega was an administrative assistant at Los Alamos National Labs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. Carolyn had a great desire to care for those close to her.

There will be a Memorial Rosary will be recited Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Mass at 9:30 a.m., at Santuario De San Martin, 8321 Camino San Martin SW.
