Carolyn Sue Lampson

Carolyn Sue Lampson, affectionately known as "Grand", left her amazing garden and her many loved ones for Heaven on February 27, 2022 at the age of 85.

Carolyn was born in Huntington, West Virginia on February 3, 1937 to Ella Sue and Dallas Wyant. Her family moved frequently as she grew up, but she spent the majority of her life in Albuquerque, NM, which she considered her home.

Carolyn loved spending time in her beautiful garden, which was featured in the news more than once. She also loved shopping at Hobby Lobby, cooking for friends and family, sending greeting cards to loved ones, decorating for holidays, and swimming and eating out with her many friends. She worked as a Toll Investigator for Mountain Bell for many years where she made some great friends that she stayed close to for decades.

"Grand" is survived by her oldest daughter Stacy Abruzzo, and her family Louis, Kelsey, and Shauna, her son Jeff Lampson of Gilbert Az and his family, Lisa, Trevor and Joey Coss.
Carolyn's youngest daughter, Kristy Franchini, went to heaven before her on January 15th this year, she was survived by her daughter Bree Fontaine and her husband Landon Fontaine of Albuquerque.

Carolyn had a great sense of humor, she was generous and independent and will be missed more than she could imagine by her family and friends. A Celebration of Carolyn "Grand"s life will be held Saturday March 26, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Glory Christian Fellowship 2417 Wyoming Blvd NE 87112. *Reception to follow.
