Carolyn Hereford

Carolyn Rowe Hereford was called home, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, December 6, 2012. Born June 12, 1936, in Oklahoma City, OK, she grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, where she graduated from Ray High School. Later she settled in Albuquerque, NM where she would spend the majority of her life, only returning to Texas in 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Espy Carlton Rowe, and her mother, Beatrice Ruby Rowe. She is survived by her husband, William Valentine Hereford; her son, Robert Lawrence Turner (wife Karen), grandson, Trevor Turner; granddaughter, Jennifer Turner; her daughter, Sharon Davidson (husband Ron); granddaughters, Savannah Davidson and Alannah Davidson; her niece, Kathryn Minor (husband Charles); great-niece, Elizabeth Minor; nephew, Tolson Wray; four stepsons, Robert Hereford, Lawrence Hereford (wife Mary), John Hereford, and James Hereford (wife Deborah); plus six step-grandsons; three step- granddaughters; two step great-granddaughters; as well as numerous other family members, friends, and bridge partners. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, Noon until 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming followed by Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Gerald Farley officiating In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cosmopolitan Women's Club, Harriet Donohoo Scholarship Fund in care of Shirley Garfield at Vineyard #118, 6118 Edith NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, or to the charity of your choosing.
