Carole Maxine Payne

Carole Maxine Payne, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, passed away on September 21, 2014. She was born in Portales, NM in 1939. She is survived by her spouse, M.L. Payne of Albuquerque; her daughter, Desaree Jimenez and husband Del, two granddaughters, Cassidy and Mariah Jimenez all from Espanola, NM; and her sister, Laverne Griggs and husband Bill of Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Henry; granddaughter, Sydney Whitfield; and her son, Michael Payne. She retired from UNM as an Office Manager in the Animal Resource Facility after 26 years of service. Her love, dedication and sacrifices for her family will never be forgotten. Services will be held Friday, September 26, 2014, 3:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University with Pastor Michael Johnson of Holiday Park Church officiating.
