Carol Patricia Salas

Age 78, passed away on December 12, 2015 at Lovelace Women's Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born February 12, 1937 in Carlisle, Ohio and was the daughter of Wayne and Clara Mallet. Carol was preceded in death by her son, Adrain Lee Salas; her husband, Arthur E. Salas and her parents. She is survived by her three sisters, Alice Orr (Marvin) of Byesville, Ohio, Janis Moreno (Victor) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lynne Jennings (David) of Huffman, Texas and two brothers, Merle Mallett (Doris) of Columbus, Ohio and William B. Mallett (Jean) of Loudon, Tennessee; as well as many nieces and nephews. She graduated in 1955 from Summerfield High School in Ohio. After graduation she moved to California and was with Western Airlines. Moving then to Las Cruces, New Mexico she attended New Mexico State University and received a Master's degree in Special Education. Cremation has taken place in Albuquerque, New Mexico and interment will be in the spring at Lincoln Cemetery with her son and husband.
