Carol Ruvolo

November 7, 1946 — March 3, 2025

Carol J. Ruvolo, a devout servant of the Lord and a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, having celebrated a vibrant 78 years of life. Born on November 7, 1946, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Carol was known for her deep faith, which she exemplified daily through love and generosity.

Carol's academic accomplishments included earning a Master's Degree from the University of New Mexico. Her scholarly pursuits were surpassed only by her devotion to Christ's teachings, which she shared through her work as a published author of twelve women's Bible studies. These publications have been instrumental in guiding countless individuals on their spiritual journeys. Her influence extended across the country, where she traveled to teach and share her profound understanding of scripture.

In every church she attended, Carol was more than a member; she was a guiding light, consistently leading and teaching Bible studies. Her love for people was evident in her warm smile and comforting hugs, and she carried an innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Those who had the privilege to know Carol were made better by her wisdom, kindness, and the contagious joy that came with her presence.

Carol also relished the vibrant spirit of UNM sports, reveling in the excitement of the games and cheering alongside fellow enthusiasts. She was also an avid reader, writer and quilter and never met a dog she didn't want to cuddle. She had a passion for sunshine and you could always find her walking the neighborhood chatting with anyone she came across.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Frank J. Ruvolo Jr., and her cherished daughter, Cinnamon R. Wolfe and son-in-law Paul Wolfe. Carol was preceded in death by her father, John Boling, her mother, Betty Boling, and her sister, Sue Thomas.

Family, friends, and those touched by Carol's life are invited to celebrate her at a funeral service on Wednesday, March 26th, at 1 pm, at Trinity @ the Marketplace, located at 2520 Chama St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge #461, situated at 2430 Centre Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106, where stories and memories of Carol will be shared amidst warmth and love.

In closing, we remember the words from Romans 4:7-8: "Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them." Carol's life was a testament to the beauty of grace and forgiveness, a legacy cherished by those who knew and loved her.
