Carol Mitchell

Mitchell, Carol Carol Mitchell, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on May 4, 2015. She entered this world on January 18, 1939 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Ernest and Elsie Teeter. She is survived by her only child, Tammy Pena and husband, George; four grandkids, Alexander, Sabrina, Sara and Fiona; brother, Lloyd Teeter and wife, Rachel; sisters, Betty Oswald and husband, Larry and Erna Carlise and husband, James; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elsie Teeter; and brother, Loren Teeter. She graduated from Albuquerque High in 1957. Carol was a member of the Women of the Moose for 58 years, and was actively involved running for and holding Senior Regent, Jr. Grad Regent, College of Regents, Academy of Friendship and Star Recorder degrees at various times throughout the years from the age of 18. Friends may visit French - University on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Private disposition will take place. Carol's life will be celebrated on Thursday, May 28, 2015, 1:00 p.m., at the Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd NE.
