Carol Jean Ele

Carol Jean Ele, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen; grandson, Michael and family Amy, Zachariah and River; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Nicole. She is also survived by brother, William; sister-in-law, Janice; nephew, David and family; niece, Jody and family; as well as numerous family in Missouri. She is proceeded in death by son, Gary Joe; father, William O.; mother, Ellen Pearl; sister, Helen Joann; and brother, Jerry MacArthur.

Carol was born in Warrensburg, MO and lived in Kansas City, MO until moving to Albuquerque, NM where she resided for 50 years.  After receiving her bachelor’s in science and her masters in purchasing management from the University of New Mexico she worked and retired from the City of Albuquerque as the purchasing officer of 25 years.

She was interested in many different things throughout her life.  Carol loved to travel and read.  She was generous with her time.  She loved spending time with her family and Carol really enjoyed spending time with her Miniature Dachshund, Stanley.

Per her wishes cremation has taken place and she will be scattered at sea with her son.
