Carmen T. Velarde

Carmen T. Velarde, 85, a dedicated wife, loving mother and accomplished homemaker passed away on January 9, 2019.

Carmen was an amazing cook, passionate about her fitness and a student of genealogy.

She is survived by her husband, Ramon; children, Gerald and Randy; grandchildren, Rebecca, Melanie, Garrett, Rachel, Vincent, Jaclyn and Diana; and six great grandchildren.  Carmen is also survived by her brother, Dominic; and sister, Elaine. She loved them all very much!

Rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.  Friends may visit beginning at 6:00 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 17, 2019, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE.  Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
