Carlos Gallegos

Carlos Anthony "Los" Gallegos, age 25, a resident of Albuquerque, was called home on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

He is survived by his fiancée, Tiffany Gallegos; children, Majestic Gallegos and Joesuph Gallegos; parents, Anthony and Cathy Gallegos; grandparents, Carlos and Bertha Gallegos; grandfather, Arthur Salazar Jr.; great-grandmother, Cicilia Gallegos; brothers, Gabriel Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, and Steven Gallegos; numerous aunts and uncles; cousins; and many friends.  We lost a part of our tree and our rock when Los died but he is now with his brother, Joesuph A.J. Gallegos, who preceded him in death, along with his grandmother, Cathy Cheever.

He was born in 1992 in Albuquerque.  As he grew up he was very athletic, especially loving basketball. The Sacramento Kings were his favorite. Los had a shoe fetish, loving Michael Jordan's Air Force 1's. He was proud of his ethnic background, loving to be called a conquistador.  Los was a protector, his brother’s keeper, and had a very close relationship with Gabe.  He had a sense of humor and had the most beautiful smile.  His family were number one, especially Tiffany, his children, and his mama. He was his grandpa and grandma Gallegos' firstborn grandchild and always loved as a child to jump in the bathtub and splash around with his brothers.  Los had an appetite of a king for food.  He loved his 1987 Caprice big box Chevy. Los was the most loving partner, dad, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  In the short time he was with us, Los left a life full of memories and touched a lot of hearts.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017, 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made on Gofundme.com under the name of Carlos Gallegos.
