Carl Wiese

CARL HENRY JOHN WIESEAge 87, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1996, and a resident of New Mexico since 1971, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012. He is survived by his children, Mary Wiese of Rio Rancho and Jerry Wiese, of Albuquerque. His wife of 65 years, Ornel Wiese, age 81, preceded him in death on January 18, 2012. Also preceding him in death were his parents, H.C. William Wiese and Anna (Meiske) Wiese; and his siblings, William C. Wiese, Bertha Wiese, Walter Frederick Wiese, Nora Worley Cox, Annie Cocek, and Lonnie Henry Carl Wiese. "John" Wiese lived and worked on the family farm in McGregor, TX, until 1950 when he moved his family to Dallas, TX, to work at Chance Vought Aircraft and then for Bell Helicopter in Ft. Worth, TX, until 1971. In Albuquerque John worked for GTE, Digital, and Honeywell Avionics until his retirement in 1989. John was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, West Campus. A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd NE, with Pastor David Breidenbach officiating.
