Carl Ray Goen

GOEN, CARL RAY Age, 83, Mr. Carl Ray Goen was called to meet our Heavenly Father on January 3, 2015. Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Margaret Goen. Ray is father to four children, Jack Goen and wife, Joye from Tucumcari, NM, Marla Ray, who preceded him in death in 1981, Jeffrey Goen and wife, Angela, from Rio Rancho, and Jessica Kettler and husband, Ryan from Albuquerque. Ray has a brother, Lynn and wife, Betty and had a sister, Norma Lee. His grandchildren are Misty, Jason, Jamie, Madyson, Bryson, Matthew, Brian, and Charity. Ray has 13 great-grandchildren and has numerous nephews and nieces. Ray was a member of First Baptist Church West Albuquerque, actively served in the Rio Rancho Tea party and Republican party, and was a lifelong member of the NRA. Ray was a native New Mexican, living in Albuquerque, Tucumcari, and Rio Rancho. He served his country in the United States Air Force in the Fifth Comm. Intelligence group during the Korean conflict. Ray married Mary Margaret July 10, 1955. They resided in Albuquerque where Ray worked in the trucking industry. He retired from Consolidated Freightways in Management. Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside with Pastor Tim Marrow officiating.
