Gjertson, Carl D., 78, extraordinary Husband and Father, left this earth on April 13, 2018. He was born to Carl and Emma Gjertson on May 26, 1939 in Owatonna, MN. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Janice Gjertson; son Richard Hobson and wife Jennifer; son Aaron Hobson, and six adoring grandchildren, Janna, Jeffrey, Jacob, Joshua, Emily and Jeremiah. He is predeceased by his daughter Melody and brother Richard. Carl served in the Marines from 1957-1965. A memorial service will be held on April 27th 2018 at 11:00 am at Grace United Methodist Church 420 San Lorenzo Ave. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Private family interment will be held at a later date and time.
