Cap (George) David Beadle, 73, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2015 surrounded by his loving family and friends after a long and courageous battle from complications of leukemia treatment. He was born on May 7, 1942 in Borger, Texas, to Walter and Betty Beadle. He married the love of his life, Nancy, on November, 24th 1968. She survives to carry on his legacy. Also surviving is his mother, Betty of San Angelo, TX; three daughters, Ferris Simmons and husband, Robert, Farley Gutierrez and husband, Michael, Fara Beadle; and dear friend, Hollie White. Cap also has two surviving siblings, Jonna Stubbs and husband, Ted and Mike Beadle and wife, Julie. Cap devoted his entire life to his family and created a beautiful, loving bond with each of his seven grandchildren, Ashton, Kameron, Caiden, Ian, Addison, Dustin, and Cannon. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Walter. Cap was a long time resident of Albuquerque. He, Nancy, and their three young daughters moved there from Farmington, NM in 1974 where he poured his heart and soul into the family's diesel engine company, Sandia Detroit Diesel. After selling the company in late 1986 to a fortune 500 company, Cap took a four year hiatus to spend time with family, coaching the girls' soccer teams, attending every event, in which the three girls participated, and giving his time to the YMCA of Central New Mexico. Soon, his innate nature for giving his family the best could not be ignored. He went back to work and started several small companies and sold them in succession. He also returned to the diesel engine business he had sold to become division manager, responsible for Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. In 2003, Cap tested for the New Mexico Real Estate Brokers License and joined Coldwell Banker Legacy in Albuquerque, where he remained until his final day. Cap leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, compassion, and selfless giving. He was an example to his family, many friends, and the countless lives he touched. He had a special way, unlike anyone else, to show his love and commitment, to all of us. While some might, at times, have questioned his approach, there was never a question that his motives were pure. He protected those he loved fiercely. He forged into every battle in life with courage, strength, and fortitude that was admired by all who knew him. Cap has left us in body, but his spirit remains here with us, watching over us. He will be greatly missed. But his courage and strength will not be forgotten. Cap did as he encouraged his girls to do. He "fought the good fight".
