Candido Cayetano Gutierrez

Our dear Candido (Candi) left us to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As was his habit of getting up early, he departed us in the early morning of Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Candido served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a gunner in the South Pacific. He then had a distinguished career with New Mexico Title Company as Vice President of Marketing and subsequently worked for the State of New Mexico for the Honorable Robert Hayes Scott, District Court Judge.
Candido is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Ramona Gutierrez; his brothers, Horacio and Walter Gutierrez; and his sister, Neome Candelaria. He is survived by his brother, Joe Gutierrez; his loving wife Pauline; his children, Carla Silva and husband Jerome, Paul Gutierrez, Mark Gutierrez and wife Hilary; and his four granddaughters, Rachel, Emily, Ashleigh, and Marissa.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021, 5:30 p.m. and a Funeral Mass on Friday, February 19, 2021, 10:00 a.m., both at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Albuquerque. The family is planning a private burial service in Santa Fe.
