C. Jeannette Sarver (McKinley) of Albuquerque passed away at her home surrounded by family on December 12, 2018 at the age of 75 after a long courageous battle with cancer. A woman of immense strength, she will be laid to rest on December 31, 2018 at Memorial Park following a small graveside service.
Jeannette graduated from Oil City High School in Oil City, Pennsylvania in 1961. She married Jerry Lee Cyphert after graduating from high school. She was widowed in September of 1972 and married Master Sargent, James R. Sarver on December 31, 1972 who we lost on December 29, 1999 and was buried on December 31st of that year.
Jeannette was a master baker, often making cupcakes for the entire school her children attended. She handmade all of her children’s Halloween costumes and took pride in being an excellent Santa Claus each year. She particularly enjoyed connecting with her former classmates and other people she grew up with. Aside from being an amazing homemaker, she also took and enjoyed desktop publishing courses that led to a career assisting a real estate broker. She also enjoyed what little time she had to herself!
