Byron Killion came to earth September 9th, 1973 (he always joked he was "hatched"). His generous nature was evident from a very early age and something that continued throughout his entire life. From his deep desire to help people he loved, to his adoration for animals, he strived to give of himself all that he could.
Having friends from all walks of life, he did not judge another's struggle. From his raunchy sense of humor to his massive vocabulary he was a complicated person and yet somehow, very simply, all heart. He worked hard his entire life, never being handed a thing. He loved football, cursing, foul stand-up comedy, concerts, video games, books, cooking, motorcycles, roofing and most of all his family and children.
Byron shed his earthly body, Tuesday, January 10th, 2023. It is impossible to sum up a human being in a couple of paragraphs. To so many of us, he was our sunshine and life has been terribly dimmed by his unexpected passing. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable. We know in the days, months, and years to come there will be countless ways in which we will miss and remember him. We are sure, however, that he is in the loving embrace of his grandfather, Rankin, and we will meet again. Until that day comes, we will strive to have compassion for others that he always did and live with an open heart.
