Bruce David Sokolov

Bruce David Sokolov passed away on January 30, 2018.  Bruce, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, was born on Long Island, NY; originally from Sands Point he then moved to Athens, OH.  Bruce was owner of Such A Deal Antiques since 1990.  Those who knew Bruce will remember him as a unique guy who lived an unconventional life.  Bruce, a lifelong DeadHead was always ready to embark on another trip with Jerry and friends.  Bruce travelled throughout Europe, Mexico, Belize, and lived in Spain in 1974.  In 1975 Bruce followed his sister, who was attending UNM, to NM and there he put down roots.  Bruce had a penchant for antiques, football, poker, and lively Thanksgiving gatherings at his North Valley abode where there never was an unwelcomed guest.  Bruce is survived by his mother, Rosalie Sokolov; his sister, Donna Pedroncelli, husband Manuel; niece, Marisa; and twin nephews, Julian and Zachary (Pedroncelli).  He was preceded in death by his father, Lionel Sokolov.  .A Memorial Reception will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming.
