We will forever miss his brilliant mind, incisive humor, endless love, generosity and kindness. He tolerated all manner of chaos, though not always willingly. Please join us for a memorial service in celebration of Bruce's life. We recommend comfortable, casual clothes (long pants and a light jacket) as the mountain setting may be cool. Light refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes a donation to the Semper Fi Fund. As a former sergeant of the U.S. Marine Corps, Bruce felt great compassion for wounded veterans, recognizing their sacrifice and our collective responsibility to care for them and their families. The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The Fund provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for injured soldiers with perpetuating needs.
