Brigitte C. Laycock

Brigitte C. Laycock, age 89, went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Laycock; and her sister, Renate Plummer. Brigitte is survived by her daughter, Brigitte Taylor and husband, Steve; son, James Paul Laycock; grandsons, Stephen, Matthew, and John Laycock; her brother-in-law, Robert Plummer, and many close friends. Brigitte was an active member in the Ikebana Chapter, the Old Glass Club, and the BBBC Bridge Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and taking care of her turtles. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched. Services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming with a Reception to follow. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Brigitte's name to Animal Humane New Mexico, 615 Virginia St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
