Brigida Montoya

Legacy of Life

Bridget Montoya, 95, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many, was called to her eternal resting place in heaven, to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on September 26, 2021.

She entered this world on September 28, 1925 in Concord, Colorado.  Born to Manual and Irene Trujillo.  Preceded in death by Vincent Montoya; and son, Joe Gilbert Montoya.  She was survived by her sister, Aurora & husband Julio Montoya; brother, Eloy Trujillo; her children, Mary Jane Alberto & husband Peregrino Alberto, Robert T. Montoya, Rose Marie Buford & husband Steve Buford, Betty Jean Pacheco & husband Dave A. Pacheco, Geraldine M. Penida & husband John Penida.

Her hobbies were crocheting, gardening, playing piano and singing praise songs, and most of all Bible reading.  She has left us with a tremendous void in our hearts.

Friends may visit Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.   A Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque, NM  87109.
