In loving memory of Brian E. Baca, born in Santa Fe, NM, to Rita and the late Gen. Edward D. Baca. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Penny, and their loving children: son Patrick, daughters Brianne and Lindsey, and daughter in-law Sydnie. His love extended to his grandchildren Nya and Xane, who were his absolute pride and joy. He was the oldest sibling among Brenda, Karen, Mark, Michelle, and David, and was preceded in death by his brother Daniel. Retired Colonel with 34 years of dedicated service in the Army National Guard, he subsequently served as CEO/President of the Better Business Bureau for 11 years. Brian attended St. Michael's High School, where he excelled in tennis and developed a love for running.
His commitment to service began early, joining the National Guard at the age of 17. Brian, an avid reader, runner, and passionate sports enthusiast, particularly loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Brian Baca's legacy of service, leadership, and love for his family and friends will forever be cherished by all those who knew him.
