Brenda Alley Morrison

Brenda A. Morrison, age 74, died Friday, August 7, 2015 of Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She was born on September 17, 1940 to Claude and Margaret (Johnston) Alley. She is survived by her life partner, Jack Brannock; her children, sons, Roby Morrison of El Centro, CA, Shawn Morrison and wife Julianne White of Coolidge, AZ, and daughter Cassandra Morrison of Albuquerque NM. She is also survived by her brother P. Keith Alley and sisters Dorothy Klein and Lois McKeown; and many Many, Many, Many friends. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Roby Morrison; brothers Donald and Bobby Alley; and her parents. Brenda retired from the Albuquerque Public Schools as the Registrar of Highland High School. She loved to read and loved to travel. Brenda traveled to over 50 countries in 15 years. She was also a custom seamstress and could sew anything. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the Morrison/Brannock family are asking donations be made to the American Cancer Fund in Brenda's name. . Please direct your donation toward lung cancer, as this was Brenda's primary cancer diagnosis. Cancer has taken too many innocent lives. We need to find a cure, not just a treatment.
