Brandon Atkinson, age 16, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 22, 2017.
He is survived by his father, JBob Atkinson of Edgewood; brother, Matthew Atkinson and wife, Arisa; sister, Keeley Smith; grandparents, Ann Atkinson and Larry and Dena Bahe; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Janelle Atkinson; and grandfather, Jim Atkinson.
He was born in 2000 in Victorville, CA and was going into his senior year of high school at Moriarity High. Brandon loved video gaming, electronics, computers, his telescope, and his cat, Brezhnev. He loved his Volvo which his dad gave him. He was employed at Scallo's Northern Italian Grill in Albuquerque and loved the culinary business. Brandon was a very nice, kind-hearted, and loving young man. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may visit Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood with lunch and fellowship to follow.
