Bonnie J. Edwell

Bonnie Jean Edwell, 65 passed away on December 31, 2023. 

Bonnie was born on March 3, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM to the late Telesfor "Gabby" and Betty Mae Gabaldon. 

She was a lover of animals and gave generously to numerous charities. She loved celebrating all holidays with family and friends and never forgot anyone's birthday. 

She is survived by her loving husband of over 44 years, Demecio Edwell; daughter, Patricia Deapen (Jason); son, Teles Edwell; granddaughter, Alexandra Raymond; grandsons, Matthew DeHerrera, and Connor Otero (Kayleigh); and great-grandson, Tannon Otero. She is also survived by her three sisters, Kay Wasson, Anita Bills and Joyce Griego; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Bonnie was a thoughtful woman who never meet a stranger, touched many lives, and made us all better for knowing her. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11509 Indian School NE, Albuquerque, NM. 

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Bonnie's name to the Animal Humane New Mexico.
