Bobbie Jean (Scranton) Foil

Bobbie Jean Scranton Foil - Born November 30, 1936 in Seminole, OK to Goldie Ann Hadow Scranton and William Harry Scranton., Died October 5, 2017 in Albuquerque NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Foil who died on Friday, April 25, 2014. She is survived  by daughter Cynthia (James) Farslow; son, Reginald Foil; grandchildren, Cameron Farslow and Tania Foil; step daughters Janet (Jim) Alden and Callie Masten. Bobbie graduated from Hobbs High School in 1954. She attended Eastern New Mexico University 1954-1955, and was President of Beta Tau Chi Sorority. She married April 13, 1956 to Ben Dudley Mason, divorced August 5, 1959. She moved to Albuquerque in June, 1959 where she met Sidney Lanier Foil whom she married on September 12, 1959. Bobbie worked early in her life as an accompanist on the piano, and then as a bookkeeper. Later she worked for Vernon Company selling specialty advertising items. Bobbie was very active with the Pajarito Thunderbird Club, and at Del Norte Baptist Church. Services will be held at Wednesday October 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery NE, Albuquerque NM 87109.
