Bob L. Turner

Bob L. Turner, age 83, left this earth to dance on the streets of gold on June 5, 2015. Bob was a loving father and grandfather. Bob had a passion for dancing, writing poetry, playing golf and watching the Lobos play any sport. Bob loved to travel and to see the world. On his many journeys, he saw new places and created many memories. Bob was a well know business man and philanthropist. He will be fondly remembered by many people he mentored throughout his life. He is survived by his brother, Douglas and wife, Suda. Also by his son, Larry Turner and wife, Karen and his daughter, Sharon Davidson and husband, Ron. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Trevor, Savannah and Alannah. Step grandchildren, Jason Williams and Ashley Davidson. Services will be held Friday, June 12, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at Copper Pointe Church, 10500 Copper Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87123 with Pastor Galen Woodward presiding. To honor Mr. Turner, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to UNM's Men's 6th Man Club and Women's '3 Point Club' basketball programs, 2 Woodward Center, 700 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. The family has also requested that everyone who attends the service wear something Lobo Red.
