GOODRUM, BILLY REU Age 85, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, NM went to meet his Savior on Sunday, August 10, 2014. He was a member of Albuquerque First Baptist Church for 75 years and has always been very involved in the church. He served as a Deacon and one of his passions was working with the youth. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Garrett, her husband, Ryan, and their children, Keenen, Jayden, Kazne and Jayce of Albuquerque, NM; and his son, Richard Goodrum, his wife, Dawn and their children, Lucas and Alexis of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlynne in 1997. Billy will be missed as a father, a granddad, role model, friend and a faithful servant for God's Kingdom. Friends may visit FRENCH - Westside on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at Albuquerque's First Baptist Church, 4101 Paseo Del Norte NW. The committal service will immediately follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
