Billy Wayne Duggin

October 7, 1930 — March 25, 2023

Billy W. Duggin was born in Artesia, NM on Tuesday, October 7, 1930 and departed this earth to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He is survived by his Albuquerque High School sweetheart, Mary Lou Shelton, who were married 2 months short of 74 years. He was a loving father of three children, he was preceded in death by son, Ronald W Duggin; and survived by daughter, Gail Henry and her husband, Pat, and son, James D Duggin and his wife, Veronnie. Bill was grandpa to grandchildren, Cory Duggin and wife Stephanie, Shelly Henry Daigle and husband Seth, Brandon Henry and wife Brandie, Ryan Duggin and Mason Duggin; and four great-grandchildren, Katie and Morgan Henry and Avery and Luke Daigle. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Sandia Laboratories for 44 years. He was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, and dog lover, while living his life with great passion. Vacations included the entire family, leaving great memories from traveling, archery, boating, hunting, and fishing. Once retired, he played hard with his wife at his side, golfing, traveling with RV friends, and being snowbirds in Arizona. As an accomplished woodworker, he also involved himself in a military project. He made over 4000 ink pens that were sent to our service men and women overseas. He will be greatly missed, but will live in our hearts forever. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
