B. Sue Williams

December 30, 1924 — March 24, 2025

Sue Williams passed away on March 24th, 2025, at 100 years old. She was born in Oklahoma and raised in Artesia, New Mexico. There she met her husband of 73 years, Ken Williams. Together they built a beautiful life, full of love and adventure. They raised two boys Dick Williams and Mike Williams, had four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Sue loved to travel. She and Ken explored all 50 of the United States, Mexico and Canada in their motor home. She was one of the original members of the Albuquerque Boat Club and spent countless weekends at Elephant Butte lake boating, jeeping and enjoying world class margaritas with friends. She and Ken owned and operated Yucca RV Storage for 45 years. She also took pleasure in playing dominos, dancing and was a fierce bridge player.

Sue remained cognitively sharp throughout her life and was blessed with a peaceful death. She will be remembered for her quick-witt, humor, adventurous spirit, and legacy of love.

Thank you to her caregivers, the staff at Fairwinds Assisted living and Neveah hospice for helping her maintain her dignity and independence. There will be an intimate farewell without a public memorial service per her request.
