Billie Lee Schroder

Billie Lee Schroder, 89 died on August 14, 2015. She was born to James Carol and Minnie Daniell Beach in Plainview, Texas on September 1, 1925. She was the oldest of four children. Her two brothers, Howard and Joe Dan, predeceased her. She was married to Verl Schroder, who passed away several years ago. Billie and Verl had two children, a daughter, Gloria Bradshaw, whose husband Keith passed away last year; and a son, Tom Schroder, who is married to Pat. Billie is survived by her sister, Marie Beach McKinnon, and her husband, James; and by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She lived in Albuquerque most of her life and graduated from Albuquerque High School. As a girl, she was active in 4-H Club and she and Verl loved square dancing. She came to know the Lord as her Savior as a teenager at Fruit Avenue Baptist Church. She was a member of Hoffmantown Baptist Church and attended Larry Voss's Bible study class. In addition to being an avid reader, she loved to travel and has been to many countries around the world. She was a member of a social group called the Blackfeet. She lived 9 years at the Woodmark at Uptown. She had many friends and loved the staff that helped her. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at X-Factor Christian Fellowship, 3023 Montclaire NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage contributions to X-Factor Mission Fund.
