Billie O. Kendrick (Bill), age 93 died on March 11, 2022 at Fountain Hills Assisted Living, Albuquerque, NM. Services were held at French Funerals on 10500 Lomas NE and interment in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM on March 18, 2022.
He was born on Aug. 2, 1928 in Breckenridge, TX to James H. Kendrick and Gladys O. Beaver.
He married Marleece Vay Elliott on Aug 1, 1948 and she subsequently followed him in death on March 26, 2022.
Bill started as a printer in Midland, TX and then moved to Eastland, TX and raised dairy cows as well as chickens. The Kendricks decided to do a production of the life of Christ in an "Easter Pageant". Bill played the role of Jesus Christ with the rest of his family playing additional roles. He later became an assistant administrator of a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the Osteopathic Hospital in Albuquerque, NM and then became the purchasing director at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque where he worked until he retired.
Bill and his wife, Marleece loved to travel in their motorhome across the United States and eventually traveled to every state in the Continental United States.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Gary Lowe of Reno, TX and one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Mary Kendrick of Rio Rancho, NM; Five grandchildren - Brian Lowe of Weatherford, TX, Keri Buri of Edgerton, WI, Abbie Pullum of Hayesville, NC, Michael Kendrick of Los Angeles, CA, and Betsy Kendrick of Winter Park, FL and 9 great grandchildren.
