Bill H Linzmeier

Bill Linzmeier passed away October 16, 2017. Bill was born December 15, 1932 in Chester, SD to Henry and (Sarah) Rhoda Linzmeier. He served in the Korean War and later attended Augustana College. Bill eventually moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where he met Hannelore “Lori” Schnare while working at Dun and Bradstreet. They married December 7, 1963 and moved to Albuquerque in1969, where they raised their family and became part of Asbury United Methodist Church. Bill worked as a salesman for many years, selling various items such as furniture, signs, keys, and labels. He was a long-time member of the Optimist Club. He loved ushering at Lobo basketball games for nearly 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Lori. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Lewis and husband, Jeff; son, Bruce Linzmeier and wife, Teri; and grandchildren, Stephanie and Evan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 28, 11:00 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria NE. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
