Bev lived in Albuquerque for 53 years. She liked the mountains, the weather and the green chile, but to her the best thing in Albuquerque was the International Balloon Fiesta. She worked balloon crews until late into her 70s, and for several years running was the oldest crew member of the entire Fiesta. She will be cremated and her ashes scattered from a hot-air balloon. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Bev was well-known for her frankness and sharp tongue, and admired for her staunch friendship and sense of fair play. Her family, friends and neighbors all loved her dearly and will miss her greatly. Hers was a life well-lived.
