Betty Ann Anaya was born on October 5, 1934, deceased May 3, 2021. She was born to Joe and Ramona Anaya, one of five siblings. Preceded in death by her son, Joe Anaya; and brother, John Anaya.
Survived by three children, daughter, Pharla Smith; sons, Fredrick Anaya, and Jordan Anaya; daughter in-laws; Kathleen married to Fredrick and Carol married to Jordan; six grandchildren, Richard (his wife Tammy Smith), Myla Smith, Jaden, Ayla and Kyle Anaya (wife, Amanda Anaya) Daniel and Nicholas Anaya; three great-grandchildren, Mariah Smith, Sophia, and Fiona Anaya; sisters, Carmen Garcia, Vickey Davis, Gloria Salas and husband Ray Salas.
Betty graduated from Albuquerque High school in 1952. Went on to work at Kirkland Airforce base for 35 years working her way up as an accountant to higher management. She retired from Kirkland and worked as the accountant for Johnston Island for five more years before retiring permanently. After that she traveled the world with her sister and friends. She continued being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
