Beth Dike

Beth Dike passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Although named Elizabeth Lee Braden, she always went by the name Beth. She was born May 10, 1945, the daughter of Glenn T. Braden and Betty Lou Todd. She grew up around horses and developed a lifelong love of animals. She worked on and off for many years as a Veterinary Technician. She loved to ride horses and with her Morgan horse "Porvenir Bonanza" won her class at the Morgan Grand Nationals in both 1976 and 1977. She moved to Corrales in her youth and continued to raise Morgan Horses. She met and married Lawrence S. Dike on May 26, 1979. They moved to some acreage outside Tijeras, NM, where she continued to raise and show Morgans in both saddle seat and driving.
