Bertha M. Sahd DeLuca

Bertha M Sahd DeLuca, 85, born in Taos, NM, died October 4, 2016, in Albuquerque. She is survived by numerous family members and was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Latife Sahd, and her husband, Salvatore DeLuca. Bertha was a devout Roman Catholic and active parishoner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Community and was also active in the Blue Army for many of those years. She also worked as a legal assistant for New Mexico Legal Aid. She had a unique sense of humor, great love for her family, pride in her northern New Mexican traditions and love for her family's Lebanese heritage and culture. She was a gifted linguist. A Rosary will be recited Friday, October 7, 2016 6:00 pm, at French - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 8, 2016, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
