Bertha Adams

Bertha Mae AdamsAge 79, born on July 8, 1933, passed away August 6, 2012. She is survived by her spouse Walter Adams and her children, Linda Douglas, Paula Ferton, Lional Adams, Faye Foster, Stephen Adams and Terri Adams. She had 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Mary C. Lewis and the Women's Auxiliary. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her father Lional Douglas, mother Susie Byrd Jones, and her sister Gloria Johnson. Services will be held for Mrs. Adams at the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church on August 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. located at 121 Alvin Calendar Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70118 with Reverend Dr. Harold H. Rapp, Senior Pastor. The burial will be held at Green Street Cemetery and the repass will be held at Jerry P. Davis Memorial Center.
