Bernice Warn

Age 90, of Albuquerque passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Arthur Warn; her daughters, Barbara Golden and husband Edward of Salt Lake City, UT, Carol Koblinski and husband Larry of Albuquerque. She was a grandmother to Stacey Wheelwright, Scott Wheelwright and Laura Rubio and great-grandmother to Emma Miller and Elliana Rubio. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she met her husband-to-be on the first day of high school in 1938. They were married December 1, 1943, just one month before Art left for the South Pacific during WWII. When he returned, their little family began. They moved to New Mexico in 1957. She enjoyed her life as a wife and mother and her family and pets were the center of her universe. She loved making each holiday, each birthday, in fact, each and every day special. Because of her, her family is left with beautiful memories and traditions that will be passed down for generations to come. She will be missed beyond words. In keeping with her deep love of animals, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Animal Humane New Mexico, 615 Virginia St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 or your favorite animal charity. Visitation will be Monday, May 5, 2014, 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Graveside service will be Monday, May 5, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
