Bernice Jones, 94, died peacefully on July 15. At age 90, she was still driving her car (without incident!), playing golf, winning at bridge, traveling with her daughters and granddaughters and making her fudge, famous far and wide among family and friends. Even as her physical health declined, her indomitable spirit, positive attitude and winning smile were always with her. Ever the teacher, whether in the classroom or doing projects with her grandchildren and others, she loved life and never knew a stranger. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Jones and Patty Limoges and her husband, Sydney; her granddaughters and their husbands, Annette and Matthew Fowler, Debra and Jason Culp, and Trina and Jon Klassen; her great-grandchildren, Charlsie and Trent Fowler and Garrett and Ainsley Culp. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Kennedy and his wife, Pat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin, her parents and her three sisters. She was lovingly cared for by the staff of the Montebello Assisted Living facility and by Barbara Kanopka and Cinthia Carrillo of Ambercare Hospice.
