Bernice Patricia (Aragon) Jensen born September 21, 1940 in Santa Fe, NM, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on November 30, 2017. Bernice is survived by her daughters, Angela Denise (Gonzales) Jensen and children, Adam, Andres, Adrian, and Ayanna, Jane Gutierrez and children, Tammy, Robin, Lawrence, and Anita, Susan Jensen and daughter, Tricia, and Petie Romero and children, Brandon, Chris, and Markus. Bernice is also survived by her sisters, Edwina Brown, Martha Aragon, and Dede Stutchman; sister-in-law, Joan Aragon; brothers-in-law, Jim Lovely and Roy Dan. She also leaves many cherished great-grandkids, nieces, nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elof B. Jensen, Jr.; her son, Gregory M. Jensen; parents, Edward and Mary Aragon; and brothers, Carols, Manuel, Rey, Patrick, and Eugene.
The family is most grateful for Diana Clark, longtime friend and neighbor, and to North Ridge ALZ for their loving care for the past two and half years.
The Viewing will be Friday, December 8, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – University. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 8:00 a.m. with Mass at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 4th Street NW 87114. Reception will be held immediately following Mass at the church. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
