Bernice Costales

Bernice Costales, 89, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on November 24, 2023. She was born to Pablo and Isabelita Gonzales on

February 25, 1934 in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her daughter Marlene Costales Kravitz and husband Alan; son William (Jon) Costales, Jr.; daughter Teresa Costales; son Charles Costales; grandchildren Aaron Pennington and wife Jennifer; Brandon Wise and wife Kristen; Danielle Wise; Joseph Costales; Kenneth Costales; Jennifer Kravitz McMurrough and husband John; great grandchildren Aleigha Costales and Evie Wise; godsons Paul Costales and Ryan McGuire, sister Oralia (Lala) Gonzales, and many, many nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband William J Costales, Sr.; son Michael Costales; grandson E. Matthew Pennington; siblings Josefita Baca, Edith Aragon, Gregoria Chavez, Felipe Gonzales, and Rosa Costales. La familia agradece a Rosa Rodriguez por el cuidado y el amor que le brindo a Bernice. A Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 10:00 am at El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church, 700 Granite NW, Albuquerque, NM with Rev. Sung Eun Kim and Rev. Jon Kuncel officiating. Internment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Wise, Bob Jaramillo, Paul Costales, Kenneth Costales, Danielle Costales and Jennifer McMurrough.
