Bernard Feldman

FELDMAN, BERNARD MARKAge 98, and a resident of Albuquerque, for 32 years and a former 66 year resident of Detroit, MI, died on November 11, 2012 following a short illness. Dr. Feldman is survived by his sons, Bruce Feldman of Albuquerque, William Feldman of Phoenix, AZ, Jeffrey Feldman of Oakland, CA; grandchildren, Nicole Feldman-Maxwell, Megan Feldman, Jonathan Feldman, Rebecca Feldman, and Alexander Feldman; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Adam Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Blanche Feldman in 2007. A graduate of the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in 1936, Dr. Feldman specialized in children's dentistry in Oakland County, MI near Detroit, for 25 years. He served in the US Navy during World War II, being stationed at Newport, RI. Active in the American Legion, Dr. Feldman was instrumental in the creation of a dental clinic for The American Legion Children's Home near Lake Orion, MI. He was a member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek of Detroit, MI, and past member of Congregation B'nai Israel of Albuquerque.
