Bernadette “BB” Gonzales, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was a beautiful and wonderful person to all who knew her. She was born on December 24, 1944 in Santa Fe, NM and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1963. She lived in California for a short time and eventually settled in Albuquerque where she retired from the General Electric Aircraft Engine Group. She spent many happy summer days with relatives and friends at the family cabin on Grass Mountain near the Pecos Wilderness.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Andrew Gonzales Sr.; two children, Joseph A. Gonzales, Jr. and Andrea Wilson and husband, Greg; three grandchildren, Alex and Marina Wilson, and Andrew Gonzales; sisters, Lucille Kleczka and husband, Joe, Dolores Miller and husband, Don; brothers, Michael Bransford and wife, Shawn, Philip Bransford and wife, Doris, Arthur Bransford and wife, Pearl, Ted Bransford and wife, Jeanne, Ben Bransford and wife, Maxine; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Paulita Bransford; her brothers, Billy Bransford, Louie Bransford, Jim Bransford, Ricky Bransford; and her sisters, Mary Ann Romero and Juanita Chavez.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at FRENCH - Westside at 10:00 a.m., with a reception to immediately follow.
Interment will then be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe will be on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
