Benjamin Joseph Martinez

Benjamin Joseph Martinez passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the age of 56 years old. He was born on Thursday, March 5, 1964 in Albuquerque and attended Valley High School. Ben is preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Martinez and his father, Ben Martinez. Ben was known as Oso (a big teddy bear) with a heart of gold. He was always quick to help those in need and had a strong faith in the LORD that never wavered up to the day of his passing. He loved his family and had the respect of his many wonderful friends. He will be deeply missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known him. He is survived by his six brothers, Tony Hernandez and wife Carol, Vicente Hernandez and wife Nancy, Ruben Hernandez, David Martinez and wife Elaine and Phillip Martinez and wife Maria of Belen. Ben also had two sisters, Raquel Sandoval and Yolanda Gallegos and husband Eutimio. Ben was blessed with many nephews and nieces who loved their uncle Ben. We look forward to seeing our brother in the promised after life. Rest in Peace.
