Benjamin F. "Barney" Barnhill

BARNHILL, BENJAMIN F. "BARNEY" Born November 2, 1923 in Moorhouse, Missouri. Mr. Barnhill passed January 13, 2014. He was a Sergeant in the Army Air Corps, receiving an honorable discharge in 1945. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force Reserves receiving an honorable discharge in 1952. After leaving the service, he joined the Civil Service. He retired from the Civil Service in 1979. He moved with his wife, Joyce, to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1987 where together they fully enjoyed retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years. He is survived by daughter, Kathy and her husband Wayne; daughter, Debbie; Grand Kids, Hank and his wife Kathy, Debi and her late husband Ron, Aaron; Great Grand Kids, Travis, Ethan, Daniel, Alex, Rachel, Johnny, Hannah, Josh and Great Great Grandson, Adrick. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
