Beatrice "Bea" Romero

Beatrice "Bea" Romero, 88, long time resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Mora, NM, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 25, 2019.

She is survived by her children, Julie Romero Montoya, Milnor Jacob Romero and wife, Laura, Jeanette Orosco and husband, Octaviano, and Joyce Chavarria and husband, Leroy; grandchildren, Frank Romero, Michael Montoya and Raquel, April Romero, Natasha Romero, Patrick Romero, Susana Bosley and husband, Chad, Nathaniel Chavarria, and Dasha Chavarria; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Siblings, Margie Maestas, Frances Arguello and husband Joe, Maime Sprague, and Elizabeth Romero and husband, John along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Bea was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Milnor Romero; son, Joseph Romero; grandsons, Joseph Romero and J.J. Romero; parents, Ernesto and Senida Rivera; and siblings, Pauline Montoya, Mary Romero, Ernest Rivera, Jr., Roy Rivera, and Genaro Rivera.

Bea will forever be remembered as a mom to all. She was loving, giving, kind, forgiving and patient. These traits were even extended to the patients and doctors while working as a Surgical Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was also very devout in her spirituality. Bea was considered a "prayer warrior" and everyone that visited her home would be blessed before leaving. With a simple word or look she expressed assurance and trust.
