Bart R. Rutledge passed away July 19, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Deneen Rutledge; daughters, Rachel Deneen Rutledge and Julia Reed Rutledge; his parents, Joy and Rusty Rutledge; his brothers, Kyle Rutledge and wife Barrie, Rusty Rutledge, Jr., Bruce Braswell and wife Julie; as well as his lifelong friend, Michael Hobbs. He loved and was incredibly proud of his nieces and nephews, Rusty Rutledge III and wife Erica, Brandon Rutledge, Adrianne Baird and husband Justin, Teryn Perod and husband Kevin, Sharlyn Francis and husband Colten, and Kelsey McCartney. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Diana Cordova; and sisters-in-law, Dawn Armijo and husband Mike, Jaclyn Smith and husband Dean; as well as countless good friends. Bart Rutledge could fix anything. He was a pillar and a father figure to many people he never intended to be. All he ever really wanted to do was to help. He was an animal lover who loved to golf, and he loved the Dallas Cowboys and would want everyone to know that it "was a catch." Above all, he loved spending time behind the bar in his den being with his family and friends. Services will be held Monday, July 27, 2015, 1:00 p.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Dr. NE. Pallbearers will be Cody Braswell, Dustin Braswell, Michael Hobbs, Bob Sedberry, Mark Harrell, Roger Carlin, Shane Johns and Kelsey McCartney.
